The D'Accord Guitar Method 1.0 is a demonstration of an educational multimedia software program that provides users who play, or want to play, the acoustic guitar the theoretical and practical support they need.
Presented with an easy to use interface, users of the D'Accord Guitar Method Demo 1.0 are offered exercises and animations that provide clear and concise information as well as musical accompaniment helping them to develop their musical skills. The method implemented takes users from an introduction to the guitar and the conventions of finger playing, including rhythm, melody, and harmony, to playing complete songs giving them a complete grounding in the basic concepts of music.
This program features musical theory before users begin to play their guitars and in this section users learn tone scales, circle of fifths, and harmonic progression. This section also includes users playing their first song, and teaches them about intervals and building a chord. Once users complete this theory section of the program, the D’Accord Guitar Method Demo 1.0 introduces them to the play section of the course where they learn how to understand chords, the left hand position, measures, and play two full songs. The course continues by featuring tips for users on improving their performances and harmony, their repertory and introducing them to the musical styles of the Samba and the Bossa Nova.
